Project Forrester- for ANZ Bank
2009 - Brookfield MultiplexA 4000m² Data Centre for ANZ National Bank in Highbrook, Auckland. This was a major fast-tracked project that included the installation of two HV incoming supplies, integrated HV switchboards, and numerous main switchboards supplying dedicated A & B stream power to the data hall.
Power is backed by UPSs and three synchronised generators with a built-in load bank testing facility and automated fuel system. Integrating the state-of-the-art monitoring system set this project apart from other data centres. All data hall infrastructure was installed and commissioned to the highest international standards.
At the height of construction, this sophisticated electrical project involved 60 electricians, a dedicated Project Manager, a Design Manager, and four Site Supervisors. It won The Electrical Contractors of NZ (ECANZ) Major Project Award 2010.
