He is hands-on and thoroughly engaged in overseeing the business and significant projects, and Max adds value to every project he is involved with. Max enjoys being involved in the early stages of a project to help clients with electrical buildability, procurement options and budget advice.

Director / Office ManagerTracey and Mike Bakker started Allendale together in 1990. Tracey is still actively involved in the business, overseeing the administration team and our busy service department. Tracey's service-oriented focus means the client's needs are always in Allendale's mind.
Craig Black
General Manager & Major Projects LeadWith over 30 years of experience in NZ and Australia, Craig and his skilful team specialise in delivering complex electrical projects, including data centres, hospitals, policing centres, defence facilities, airport buildings and all commercial buildings. Craig's Master’s in Construction Management and Certificate in Illumination Engineering enhance his expertise and leadership.

Zane Smith
Estimating ManagerZane started at Allendale as an apprentice and has worked through various positions of responsibility within the company. His broad commercial experience now enhances the Allendale estimating team that he leads. Zane is experienced in estimating electrical packages for data centres, hospitals and major commercial projects.
Richard Guttenbeil
EstimatorSimilar to Zane, Richard started as an apprentice electrician with Allendale and has worked his way into the commercial team. Richard works hard to understand and communicate the detail involved in each tender to enable clients to make the best commercial decisions. Richard has an in-depth knowledge of hospital and medical environments and works closely with our installation teams once projects are awarded to provide the best commercial advice.
Design Team
Dave Smith
Draughtsman / BIMDave, a qualified draftsman, is very experienced and up to date with all the elements of Cad drafting. He produces drawings for design and build projects and updates as-builts on completion. He also does an excellent job collating material for publishing in our operating and maintenance manuals. Dave also looks after our BIM and liaises with external designers when required.

Construction ManagerTerry is our Construction Manager and a highly experienced Registered Electrical Inspector. With a deep understanding of the complex demands of hospitals and medical environments, Terry brings invaluable expertise to our team. He ensures that all projects meet the rigorous AS/NZS3003 standards, essential for maintaining safety and compliance in medical facilities. Terry's meticulous attention to detail and extensive industry knowledge make him an integral part of Allendale Electrical, ensuring that every project is executed professionally and carefully.
Paul Hodgson
Contracts ManagerSpecialising in Major Electrical Projects
Paul, an NZ-registered electrician, has been with the company for over 30 years and has extensive experience managing large electrical projects. He gained extensive knowledge of earthing and lightning protection by helping to set up the Vodafone cell site network.
Sam Greene
Contracts ManagerSam has been with Allendale for eight years and has delivered projects such as the Ormiston Town Centre and the new Kakariki Hospital. Sam is focused on outcomes for the client and his team to deliver outstanding results.
Narend Sharma
Project ManagerNarend is a Registered Electrical Inspector who has worked for Allendale for over twenty years. During this time, his hard work and dedication have seen him rise through the ranks to his current position as Project Manager. Narend has an in-depth knowledge of Hospitals and data centres and the critical nature of the equipment being installed in these facilities.

Facilities ManagerTheo is our Hospital and Medical Facilities Manager, overseeing our dedicated ADHB Auckland City Hospital and Greenlane team. With extensive experience and expertise in managing healthcare environments and specialising in AS/NZS3003 standards, Theo ensures that his team meets the highest safety and compliance standards. His team provides comprehensive services, including body and cardiac testing, to ensure that all healthcare systems are fully compliant and functional. Theo's leadership and in-depth knowledge is invaluable to the Allendale team.

He is a certified designer for all the major Structured Cabling Solutions companies, with specialist experience installing copper and fibre networks.

Mark Gummer
Karm SafetyAllendale retains the services of an independent health and safety consultant, Mark Gummer of KARM Safety Management Ltd. Mark handles all aspects of health and safety for Allendale, including preparing toolbox topics, conducting regular site audits, compiling safety documentation, and developing site-specific safety plans. Additionally, Allendale utilises the cloud-based BWARE health and safety system to efficiently track and manage our daily operations related to health and safety.
